The Storytelling Chair

There is nothing more magical than the storyteller's chair. A chair from which magic realms are reached and mystical destinations explored. At the foot of this magnificent chair a child might met a belligerent hippopotamus, a small boy who believes in ghosts, a villain intent on dastardly deeds, a talking mouse with rapier drawn, a knight with rusty armour or a grandmother who when not washing small children is fairy Godmother to a reluctant dragon.

This chair so beautifully carved by an artist's hands has beckoned, tantalised and sallied forth the imaginations of hundreds of enthralled children. To help the storytellers who take their spell-binding position amongst its iconic confines we would ask for the tender love, skill and care of an upholsterer, so this princely mystical chair can return to its heyday and beckon many more hundreds of children to its feet so they too may listen to that most precious of things .... Story-time.
