Xylophone

Bruce Gordon Hamilton West School

Children improvise and love doing so. And nothing was more uplifting and amusing than watching the children from Room 13 turn on a musical percussion performance using pots, pans, oven slides, tin cans and any available knee caps. Their enthusiasm was a magical display in itself. Melodious perhaps wasn't a word we could use but they certainly had rhythm.

Bruce would love to start a real percussion ensemble in the classroom and introduce the children to instruments they might not even recognise, but once played they will never forget.

Let's give Bruce some tuneful sweet toned instruments to go with that rocking rhythm.
His wish for his classroom is start his percussion section with a xylophone.
