Tammy's Magic Carpet

Tammy Williams  Hamilton West

I wish for a magical carpet, a special place where stories are told and the impossible can happen. Tammy.

When Tammy sits down, I immediately find a huge grin on my face. She has a presence that is quirkily captivating, and I am compelled to sit quietly and listen. You can just imagine her in a cowboy hat sitting around a fire on a very dark moonless night telling a yarn that has young and old alike silent and completely enthralled.

Her wish is in essence about the creation of a special place. Tammy needs a big magical rug that she can roll out and beckon children towards. Somewhere where they can snuggle close together, warm, comfortable and spellbound, waiting in anticipation for the magical stories to unfold.

When she spoke with such a sparkle and energy in her voice, I knew I would love to join those small children and listen to her creating a magical scene where stories start and imaginations take flight.
